These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KTS website (koreatravelsecretary.com) and the concierge services provided by KTS ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, signing up for our waitlist, or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About KTS

KTS (Korea Travel Secretary) is a concierge service that helps foreign travelers and residents in South Korea with Korean-language applications and services. We assist with restaurant reservations, food delivery, taxi communication, online shopping, and general Korean-language tasks via messaging platforms such as WhatsApp.

KTS is operated by Rabbitoad, a business registered in South Korea (사업자등록번호: 402-88-02634). Our principal place of business is in Seoul, South Korea.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using KTS, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. The Services We Provide

KTS provides a concierge service. We do not own or operate the underlying third-party services we interact with on your behalf (such as Naver, Catchtable, Coupang, Baemin, Kakao T, etc.). We act as your representative in communicating with these services in Korean.

Specifically, we offer:

• Restaurant reservations — we book on your behalf via Naver, Catchtable, phone, or other channels
• Food delivery orders — we place orders via Baemin, Coupang Eats, or similar platforms
• Taxi calls — we hail and coordinate taxi services such as Kakao T
• Online shopping — we place orders on Coupang, Naver Shopping, and similar Korean e-commerce platforms
• General Korean-language assistance — phone calls, translations, information lookup

We charge fees for our concierge work. The cost of the underlying goods or services (e.g., restaurant deposit, food cost, taxi fare, product price) is separate and paid by you directly or reimbursed to us at cost.

4. Founders Access ($2)

Founders Access is a one-time payment of US$2 that locks in benefits to be redeemed when our full service launches. These benefits currently include:

• One free service request at launch (value approximately $5–$15)
• Priority access to our messaging channels
• Access to a founders-only Discord community
• A 20% lifetime discount on all KTS services

Founders Access is fully refundable at any time, with no expiration, no questions asked. To request a refund, email hello@koreatravelsecretary.com. Refunds are typically processed within 24 hours.

KTS is currently in pre-launch. We are targeting a Q3 2026 public launch. While we are committed to launching, we reserve the right to extend this timeline. If we cannot launch within 12 months of your purchase, we will issue an automatic refund.

5. Payment and Pricing

All payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax compliance, and chargebacks on our behalf. Your receipt will reflect a payment to Paddle.

Prices are displayed in US dollars. Your bank may apply conversion fees if you use a non-USD card.

By providing payment information, you authorize Paddle to charge the amount specified at the time of purchase.

6. Refunds

See our full Refund Policy for details. In summary:

• Founders Access purchases: fully refundable at any time, no questions asked.
• Future service fees: refunded if we cannot complete the requested service.

7. Your Responsibilities

When you use KTS, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your requests
• Pay for any goods, services, or deposits incurred on your behalf through our concierge work
• Not use our services for illegal activities
• Not impersonate another person or misuse our services

8. Third-Party Services and Limitations

KTS interacts with third-party platforms (Naver, Catchtable, Coupang, Kakao, Baemin, etc.) on your behalf. We are not affiliated with these companies. We cannot guarantee:

• That a specific restaurant will have availability
• That a third-party platform will accept your booking, order, or payment
• The accuracy of information provided by these third parties
• The performance of services delivered by third parties (e.g., delivery riders, taxi drivers, restaurants)

If a third-party service fails, we will refund our concierge fee and assist in resolving the issue, but we are not responsible for the underlying failure.

9. Privacy

Your use of KTS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on koreatravelsecretary.com, including the KTS name, logo, and design, is owned by KTS or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KTS's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, missed reservations, or travel disruption, except where required by applicable law.

12. Termination

You can stop using KTS at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse our services, or engage in fraudulent activity.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of KTS after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of KTS will be resolved in the courts of Seoul, South Korea, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
